Data from Dorothy Boyd-Rush, with a lot added as we went.

It is likely that he was born in Germany. When did he arrive? Was he the Anthonius OEHLER who arrived in Philadelphia on the "Marlborough" in 1741? Was he indentured before his marriage? Or, was he the Anthon OEHLER who arrived in Philadelphia on the "Dragon" in 1749?
Is he connected to the Germanna Aylors?
While his marriage in 1753 is recorded in the Peaked Mountain records, it most likely occurred in Pennsylvania and some of his children were very likely born there. The actual records of the Peaked Mountain Church begin about 1762. The information on the family of Anthony or Anton OEHLER/EILER is recorded as a group indicating it was copied down at the same time. Only his youngest child was actually baptized at the Peaked Mountain Church. Note: At this point, I am not certain what spelling was used for the surname by his children, i.e., OEHLER, EILER, EYLER, AYLER or AYLOR. This needs more work.
It is probable that he moved to Georgia about 1790. Lee Hay indicated that he found an abstract of his will of 1802 in on old bundle of unmarked papers at the Augusta County Courthouse (1996). The power of attorney was given to Philip ZIMMERMAN, my #24832.

A lot of his children's info came from the LDS/IGI and from the book "The Descendants of Andreas Oberbeck and Elizabeth Drach" by Mirl & Sarah Orebaugh, Copyright 1989. (actually from group sheets sent by the author - the book has never been located in a library which is willing to lend it).
LDS trip Jan 97:
The 1994 IGI claims they were married and most of their children born in Maryland. Film #447904 was given as the source but I don't know if that will list the original source. Also on this trip to the LDS I found 4 other books on Eiler/Oyler (etc), 2 of which I think I can get from I.L L. The others I will ty to get from LDS.
The LDS said he was born 1728 Graceham, Frederick Co MD.
